From this week Sky Living will now be known as Sky Witness after a channel rebrand. The channel which was home to all of our favourite shows from the US including Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Madam Secretary and The Good Doctor (which are set to return this autumn) will remain just that and with its relaunch, a whole bunch of new series will be aired too!
Sky Witness will be the home of four exciting new series which will be making their UK premiers. 9-1-1, Instinct, For The People and The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair, will hit our screen this Autumn. Let’s find out more…..
9-1-1 is a drama which follows first responders heading life-threatening emergencies in LA. The series from Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of American Horror Story features lots of familiar faces in the cast, including Angela Bassett and Nashville’s Connie Britton.
Season 1 starts on Wednesday 15th August 2018 at 9:00 pm
Instinct stars Alan Cumming from The Good Wife. Who plays Dylan Reinhart a former CIA operative turned professor who is lured back to his old life to help stop a serial killer. It’s based on an adaptation of the novel ‘Murder Games’ by James Patterson.
Season 1 begins on Thursday 23rd August 2018
For The People
For The People is a new courtroom drama bought to us from ShondaLand! Shondaland is an American television production company founded by television writer and producer Shonda Rhimes. Shonda has already graced us with Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder and Scandal, all of which I loved! I’m too excited for this one to start.
Season 1 airs on Sky Witness, Monday 6th August 2018 at 10:00 pm
The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair
Derek is back!! OK not really, but at least we have Patrick Dempsey back on our screens. This is a 10 part series which sees McDreamy play a literary icon who suddenly finds himself accused of murder after the body of a young girl is found buried on his property.
The series starts on Tuesday 4th September 2018 at 9:00 pm
That’s Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights sorted!
