One of the things I loved most as a teen, going back to school in September was the shopping for all my new school supplies. And that really hasn’t changed much.
I think it’s totally reasonable now that I’m a mum to treat myself to my own back to work/life/school run essentials too, especially after enduring the summer holidays, dreaded uniform shop and living in comfortable clothes and sliders for most of August.
An update on the wardrobe which coincides perfectly with the new Autumn and Winter lines appearing in shops makes my day. And so I have shared some of my favourite-finds available in stores now.
Just like the kids, I am always in need of a new coat, bag and shoe combo when September arrives. I love the green colour of this coat from Zara and it would look great with a few of their scarves too as the weather turns colder.
I have also been eyeing this bag all summer, each time I have headed into Debenhams for school shirts and supplies – It has been shouting my name, and now it is in the sale, winner! And then the shoes, or trainers…I love these so much, comfortable enough to make the school run in, and still stylish enough for work.
