FACEGYM Launches At Selfridges Trafford

FACEGYM, the facial workout phenomenon that has taken London and New York by storm, arrives in Manchester this September.

Taking up residence in the Beauty Workshop at Selfridges Trafford from 24th September, the new FACEGYM studio will form part of the iconic department store’s 20,000sqft beauty hall overhaul which is set to make it the ultimate beauty destination in Greater Manchester.

Our Manchester launch is BIG news for the brand. We know the North West is a region of beauty and grooming junkies with their fingers on the pulse and can’t wait to bring our unique concept to a new audience. The expansion of the Selfridges Trafford beauty hall is a great moment to be part of and we’re excited that FACEGYM will form part of the hottest new beauty destination in Greater Manchester.’

FACEGYM uses a signature workout technique, which uses vigorous knuckling movements and high energy whipping strokes to stimulate blood circulation, collagen production and cell renewal to lift, tone and tighten the face.

FACEGYM was founded by Inge Theron, a beauty journalist. Having tried all manner of treatments for her long-standing, undercover Spa Junkie column in the FT, Inge noticed there was a huge increase in invasive procedures with little regulation in place and decided to create an effective, non-invasive, no-risk face lifting solution and so developed the concept of FACEGYM.

Just as FACEGYM’s three existing studios, Selfridges Trafford will feature countertops made of recycled yogurt pods and further support the brand’s mission of offering sustainable beauty solutions through both formulations and packaging.

The brand will retail its FACEGYM Pro alongside its Grab & Go Training Serums a vegan friendly oil serum which uses 99% natural, pure essential and cold pressed oils with potent actives. Alongside their own products, FACEGYM retails brands including: Royal Fern, Pestle & Mortar, Dr Levy, Allies of Skin, Heliocare, Gee Beauty, Gold Derm Roller and Hayo’u Beauty Restorer Tool.

The Selfridges Trafford studio also host a suite of add-on technologies spanning the latest innovations in lights and lasers, radiofrequency and cryotherapy, to FACEGYM’s latest high-tech topical skincare offering SKIN IV.
